Description
Inspired by the Braun ThermoScan® and standard hospital models, the Ear-T is the world’s first simulated ear thermometer / tympanic thermometer. It displays temperature readings remotely controlled by Innov2Learn’s free APP, eliminating the need to shout values or use stickers during training. The Ear-T works effectively with standardized patients/actors and with both low- and high-fidelity manikins, elevating simulation experiences.
Temperature is shown in °C or °F on a bright display. Measurements can be preset in the APP and triggered by pressing the Ear-T “Measurement” button, or a value can be manually forced onto the display at any time. The APP also supports clearing the display to return the thermometer to its idle state. A beeping sound is emitted whenever a new reading appears.
Powered by an internal lithium battery, the Ear-T operates for a full day on a single charge and recharges with any standard USB-C charger. The device can be remotely controlled from up to 15 meters away, even through glass or thick walls.
